Polish probiotic in supportive therapy
Therefore, we do not need to convince anyone that the most effective form of treatment for us is Polish probiotics therapy.It is worth noting that the only probiotic of domestic production on the Polish market, which has clinical trials, is a mixture of three strains of Lactobacillus casei LOCK 0900, Lactobacillus casei ŁOCK 0908 and Lactobacillus paracasei ŁOCK 0919, i.e. Latopic.The research was carried out by a team of professor Bożena Cukrowska from the Center for Child Health in Warsaw.The strains were isolated and characterized by a team of scientists from the Institute of Fermentation and Microbiology, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Lodz University of Technology under the direction of prof.dr.hab.Zdzisława Libudzisz.
Professor Cukrowska’s research has shown that children with cow’s milk allergy treated with a dairy-free diet with Latopic have less severe skin symptoms, develop milk tolerance faster, and rarely suffer from spastic bronchitis than children who are only on a diet.
The formation of the intestinal ecosystem takes place around the age of two, which is why this period seems to be optimal for modulating the composition of intestinal bacterial flora.At present, the best documented effects in the treatment of food allergy are given by the use of an elimination diet.
However, the aforementioned positive consequences of administering probiotics containing said mixture of three strains of bacteria urge them to be used as a safe adjuvant therapy in children up to the age of two.
