Fight against Atopic Skin Burns

Probiotics support prevention, alleviation of symptoms and treatment of allergies – confirm the research team professor Bożena Cukrowska from the Center for Child Health.According to the researchers, the best effectiveness in combating allergy is shown by good bacteria from the geographical area in which they are used.Child allergy is a nuisance for a toddler and his parents.Shortly after birth small spots appear on the mouth and head, and later on the shoulders, tummy, back – tell the parents of small allergy sufferers.-The conscience begins to scratch and does not sleep at night, and we together with her.

Life turns into a nightmare

The appearance of an allergy, otherwise known as an allergy, means that the body’s immune system reacts incorrectly to substances (allergens) normally found in the environment. In infancy, cow’s milk is one of the most important food allergens.Up to 20% of infants can have symptoms of food allergy. In addition to the so-called atopic dermatitis, diarrhea, vomiting, colic in babies, older children – abdominal pain, upper respiratory tract infections, especially bronchitis.

Why are we more often suffering from allergies?

Specialists investigating the causes of allergy assign more and more importance to changes in the microflora that colonize the digestive tract (the so-called microbiotic theory of allergy development). We lose our immunity, because excessive sterilization of the life of modern societies limits the contact with bacteria necessary for the proper development and maturation of the immune system from birth.

How probiotics help in allergy

Taking this into account, scientists conclude that strains of so-called good bacteria can be used in the treatment of allergy and prevention of allergic diseases.Probiotics are microorganisms isolated from the digestive tract of healthy people.Remember, however, that not all work the same.Recent studies indicate that the same probiotic in allergy is different in different countries. Therefore, it seems that the best effectiveness in combating allergy is shown by good bacteria from the geographical area in which they are used.

Polish probiotic in supportive therapy

Therefore, we do not need to convince anyone that the most effective form of treatment for us is Polish probiotics therapy. It is worth noting that the only probiotic of domestic production on the Polish market, which has clinical trials, is a mixture of three strains of Lactobacillus casei LOCK 0900, Lactobacillus casei ŁOCK 0908 and Lactobacillus paracasei ŁOCK 0919, i.e. Latopic. The research was carried out by a team of professor Bożena Cukrowska from the Center for Child Health in Warsaw. The strains were isolated and characterized by a team of scientists from the Institute of Fermentation and Microbiology, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Lodz University of Technology under the direction of prof.dr.hab.Zdzisława Libudzisz.

Professor Cukrowska’s research has shown that children with cow’s milk allergy treated with a dairy-free diet with Latopic have less severe skin symptoms, develop milk tolerance faster, and rarely suffer from spastic bronchitis than children who are only on a diet.

Lactobacillus Gasseri

The formation of the intestinal ecosystem takes place around the age of two, which is why this period seems to be optimal for modulating the composition of intestinal bacterial flora. At present, the best documented effects in the treatment of food allergy are given by the use of an elimination diet.

However, the aforementioned positive consequences of administering probiotics containing said mixture of three strains of bacteria urge them to be used as a safe adjuvant therapy in children up to the age of two.
